Serra Heck created the umbrella "Sacred Beginnings" offering classes and services to expectant and new moms and their partners and families from a desire to support positive birth experiences. She channels her joy and reverence for the birth process into creating an atmospere of trust and celebration during this transformational time. She has been supporting birth and helping to inform expectant parents of their rights and options since 2000. Serra is currently an apprentice to a local homebirth midwife and is pursuing education toward becoming a licensed midwife herself.
